  • SIBO Test Results

    Hi -

I had two different SIBO tests from two different companies and I am finding the results a bit strange.

The first was a Genova test that was done in Sept 2016 (during which time I was slightly constipated). The second was a Commonwealth test done in January 2017 (during which time I started to develop loose BMs). Both indicate methane dominance - but my symptoms have completely changed which doesn't make sense. It also looks like the later test doesn't have ANY hydrogen (how'd that happen??). The only thing that I did between these tests was acupuncture - so either the tests are inaccurate or I have an amazing acupuncturist. What do you think??

    120 min H2: 0; CH4: 25
