  • GI transmitters beneficial to cardiovascular system, but hard on the GI tract?!

    http://www.mdpi.com/1420-3049/21/11/1558/htm

Article is an interesting read, but it's hard for me to wrap my mind around the dualistic relationship with these byproducts i.e. I've always thought of methane as the 'bad guy' in the gut- as usual with the GI tract things are way too complicated *sigh* Please correct me if I'm missing something or what your thoughts are.

The problem is not the production of these byproducts, it happens in all of us even when we are healthy. The problem is the overproduction of these byproducts by dysbiosis. Too much hydrogen sulfide for example can cause anxiety, perceived breathlessness, and massive brain fog.
